Technology Student Association (TSA)
TSA empowers students to become innovative problem-solvers, skilled technology users, and confident leaders prepared for a rapidly changing world.
The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national career and technical student organization for students interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Through hands-on experiences, leadership development, competitive events, and career exploration, members apply technical and academic knowledge while developing skills that extend well beyond the classroom.
At AAS, TSA gives students opportunities to turn ideas into solutions. Members use creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and technical skills to solve problems, develop projects, and prepare for competitive events. These experiences allow students to build on what they learn in their career pathways while exploring how technology is used across industries and careers.
TSA opportunities connect students with a wide range of areas, including:
- Engineering and Design – developing, testing, and improving solutions to real-world challenges
- Computer Science and Technology – applying skills in areas such as coding, cybersecurity, data, and emerging technologies
- Communication and Digital Media – using technology to create, design, produce, and communicate
- Manufacturing and Applied Technology – combining technical knowledge with design, production, and problem-solving
- Leadership and Professional Skills – strengthening communication, teamwork, organization, decision-making, and presentation skills
Through Georgia TSA and national competitive events, students can demonstrate their knowledge and creativity in individual and team challenges. Events range from engineering design, CAD, cybersecurity, and technology problem solving to photography, digital production, leadership, and other technology-focused competitions.
TSA also provides opportunities for members to develop leadership skills, connect with students who share similar interests, participate in conferences and service activities, and represent AAS beyond the classroom.
Whether students are interested in engineering, technology, design, digital media, computer science, or another STEM-related field, TSA provides opportunities to create, compete, lead, and prepare for what comes next.
