Academy Excellence
AAS is a College and Career Academy and a program of choice for high school students enrolled in Henry County Schools.
The Academy for Advanced Studies proudly offers 39 CTAE and Fine Arts pathways to explore authentic learning experiences related to postsecondary career options.
Our CTAE and Fine Arts pathways are divided into four schools: The School of Business and Digital Design; The School of Creative Studies; The School of Engineering, Power and Automation; and The School of Wellness and Community Services.

In collaboration with Southern Crescent Technical College, AAS offers ten Dual Enrollment pathways that lead to Technical Certificates of Credit.
Each month, the AAS team identifies and celebrates certified and support professionals who work tirelessly to create authentic, engaging learning experiences for our associates.
Our bus drivers earn a starting salary of $20.97/hour and totaled more than 1.8 million miles last year in service of our schools.
Our starting teacher salary is $50,910, representing a $12,000 increase since 2018.
